Measuring Highly High Codes

Using recirculation equipment equipped with 2 online ISO 4406 laser
particle counters,  with a  0.83  gpm pump and a beta  4>4193  filter,
the  reservoir was filled in recirculation mode without filtration. 

An ISO code 24/23/18 could be  determined, which was  ratified  in
the other devices without any problem.

 

Conclusion: The veracity of the results was 100% reliable.

Measuring clean codes

The fluid was filtered below <9<8<7, and the sample was taken through the counter. The surprise was that despite having repeated the procedure 3 times trying to clean the other equipment as much as possible, we were never able to obtain measurements below 16/14/12; 19/17/13 being the mean of the results of the first measurement procedure.

Conclusion: it was determined that the process of taking the sample and the same laboratory equipment contributed contamination with high results.
